Are your beauty products safe?

Since our inception in 2001, our commitment has always been to provide you with exceptional quality.

Over the last several months, you may have heard us talk a lot about how toxins are the number one reason for illness. Did you know that one of the ways your body absorbs toxins is through your skin? Take a look at your makeup and skin care labels. More ingredients listed on a product usually means more toxins are entering your body. We recognized this problem and decided that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your health for beauty.

What is the solution? Natural ingredients. Hotze Pharmacy is proud to provide our guests with two new lines of extraordinary beauty products, Andalou Naturals and Jane Iredale Skin Care Makeup.

Over the next several weeks we’ll tell you more about Andalou Naturals and Jane Iredale Makeup, how these products will benefit you, your skin and your health, and when you can order them from Hotze Pharmacy!

Comment on our Facebook page now with questions about your skincare routine, and we will answer in next week’s blog!

Sublingual Glutathione

HP SUBLINGUALSSublingual Glutathione

If you missed our Successful Living event last weekend, we were talking all about detox, which is crucial to achieving optimal health. Properly detoxing your body helps your hormone to be balanced, nutrients to be better absorbed, and even contributes to healthier weight loss, or “true fat loss.”

Glutathione is the most critical and integral part of your detoxification system. All the toxins stick onto glutathione and are carried out of the body through waste. This helps you reach peak mental and physical function and protects your body against disease. What better way to increase your glutathione levels than a convenient sublingual tablet that dissolves quickly under the tongue?! To find out if glutathione is a good choice for you, call Hotze Pharmacy today!

5 Tips to Use Up Your FSA

Do you have a Flexible Spending Account (FSA)? If so, in most cases you must use the funds by the end of the year or else you will lose them! To help you out, we have a few ideas to help ensure that you are getting the most out of your FSA.

Here are 5 ways to use your FSA effectively:

1. Refill your prescriptions now! Use up your funds and skip the holiday rush on refills!
2. Know when your plan ends so you can budget accordingly. Most FSAs end on December 31, but some plans allow for an extension.
3. Submit your receipts. Look for receipts for prescriptions and medical expenses you’ve already paid so you can be sure you get reimbursed.
4. Stock up on over-the-counter products. Band-Aids, crutches, first aid kits, and reading glasses may be covered. Vitamins and supplements usually qualify, too, if you have a letter from your doctor.
5. Get a massage! If it is considered treatment for a medical condition, your FSA may cover a massage.

Don’t let your money go to waste when you can be spending it wisely on things you need! If you have any other questions about using your FSA or would like to refill your prescriptions to use up your FSA, contact Hotze Pharmacy today!
