New Website/ Prescription Order Online FAQ

1- What is the best way to communicate to Hotze Pharmacy if I need assistance?
You can call us at 281-828-9088 or e-mail Pharmacy@HotzePharmacy.com.

2- Can I use my same username and password in the new system?
Yes, but you must register with the new system for the user name and password to be valid. Your user name and password must comply with the requirements as noted on the registration page.

3- My system is not allowing me to register, and I am receiving an error message. What should I do?
You should install a more recent internet browser. We recommend Google Chrome. You can download it by clicking the following link:

4- Can I use any web browser?
The minimum Brower Support is Chrome 31+; Firefox 26+; Internet Explorer 9+; Safari 5+.

5- I closed my window while I was waiting for the code/token, what should I do?
You will have to start over. Please open one window for your email box and one window for the Hotze Pharmacy website.

6- I finished the process and I still did not receive the code (“token”). What should I do?
Please check your junk mail. If it is not there, please contact Hotze Pharmacy for assistance.

7- Can I register using my phone?
It depends on the type of phone you have. This is not recommended because you need 2 windows open in your web browser to register. A personal computer is the ideal way to register.

8- I see that my prescription has refills available but it is not allowing me to fill, what should I do?
If the prescription is a new prescription that was put on hold, please contact Hotze Pharmacy for assistance. We will need to “release” this prescription for you the first time. Subsequent refills should be available to refill online.

9- Last month I filled one month supply. I want 3 months at this time, what should I do?
The portal will allow you to fill exactly what you received the last time. Should you require any changes, including quantities, please contact Hotze pharmacy for assistance.

10- I have a Yahoo or YMail email account, and have not received a token to register. Why?
Our software developer and our IT department are aware of this issue, and are currently working on resolving it. Please contact Hotze Pharmacy for assistance in placing your order.

How to Refill Your Prescription

1. Refill
This page displays a list of active scripts, excluding inactive or expired, and the number of eligible refills. The most recent fill and current status are shown. Prescriptions that were put on hold will not be available for refill through the website the first time. Please contact Hotze Pharmacy for assistance at 281-828-9088 or by e-mail Pharmacy@HotzePharmacy.com

To refill a prescription:
1. Select the Refill button for each script to add to the order.

2.Once all scripts have been selected, select Continue. Please note: you will only be able to refill the quantity you refilled the previous time. For any changes to quantity or any changes to your prescriptions, please contact the pharmacy at 281-828-9088 or by email at pharmacy@hotzepharmacy.com for assistance. We are currently working on having the software developer implement a “Comments Field” for your convenience. Also, it is always a good idea to have your prescription number to validate which prescription you need to refill.

2. Shipping
Please select how to receive the prescriptions. Options include: Mail, or Pickup. For Mail, there is a Rush Shipping (Overnight) option for a fee ($30).

For Mail, the address from your Patient Profile, as well as an option to add a new address, are displayed. New addresses are inserted in your Patient Profile as a Delivery address upon selecting Continue.
NOTE:New addresses are added to Patient Profiles even if you log out prior to submitting the order.

3. Billing
All stored cards from the Patient Profile are available options. You have the ability to select a stored card, add a new credit card, or pay at pickup.

If you select New Credit Card, the following page appears to enter new credit card information. If a card is expired, you can update the expiration date by selecting the expired card and selecting Continue.

4. Verify
You can verify the order before submitting for processing.
•The Ship To field displays the address from step 2 (Shipping)
•The Pay With fields displays payment option selected during step 3 (Billing). For credit cards, the type of card, the last four digits of the card number and expiration date display.
•All prescriptions in the order appear, including information about required Refill Authorizations, and the fill date of the previous fill displays for all selected scripts.
•Once information has been confirmed, the patient selects Submit Order. A confirmation number appears. Currently, this is the patient’s date of birth, plus the current date/time stamp. (DOBMMDDYYYYHHM

How to Create Your Hotze Pharmacy Online Account

Go to http://www.hotzepharmacy.com

1) Click on the tab “REFILLS”

2) Click on “Order Prescription Refills”

3) Click on “Register”

4) Enter a valid prescription number located on any of your containers from Hotze Pharmacy (number is located on the top left corner of your prescription label)

5) Enter your date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)

6) Enter your email address that you use to communicate with Hotze Pharmacy.

7) Click on “Register”. DO NOT close the software. Open your email account in a new window.

a) Check your e-mail box. You will have an e-mail with a code (token). It may also be in your junk mail box. Copy that code and paste it on field 8. This is a case sensitive field. To copy the number, double click on the number until it is highlighted, right click and choose the option “copy” Go to the field number 8 and right click and choose the option “paste”.

b) If you did not receive an e-mail with the code that means the e-mail address you have on file with Hotze Pharmacy is not current. Please call Hotze Pharmacy for further assistance (281-828-9088 or e-mail Pharmacy@HotzePharmacy.com)

c) If you received an error message, your internet browser is not compatible. Please install a newer version of the Chrome by copying this link and pasting on your internet browser: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/

Follow the directions for installation. When it is completed open the new Chrome window, and go to Hotze Pharmacy website (http://www.hotzepharmacy.com/) and start on step 1 again.

8) Copy that code (token) received in email and paste it on field 8
9) Enter your user name (it could be your old one)
10) Enter your password (it could be your old one)
11) Re-enter your password for accuracy
12) Click on “Continue”

Congratulations! You will read a message in green saying you’re successfully registered to the new system!
13) Enter your user name
14) Enter your password
15) Click on “login”

Now you will be able access your records.
